Patient had foreign body sensation for a long time. He was being treated with lubricants elsewhere but was not satisfied. When he came to us a simple lid eversion revealed what had been troubling him for so long- multiple large concretions.
We anaesthetised his eye and removed all the concretions and give him antibiotics and lubricants. His symptoms disappeared like magic and he was fully satisfied.
A thorough clinical examination is a must in every patient.
