He completed his MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), New Delhi, and subsequently pursued MS Ophthalmology at Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Maulana Azad Medical College (GNEC-MAMC), New Delhi. His academic journey includes an AIR 50 in the All India PMT, AIR 91 in the AIIMS PG entrance and AIR 158 in NEET PG.

His academic achievements continued during postgraduate training. His MS thesis received a Best Poster Award at the American Academy of Ophthalmology conference in Chicago in 2016, and he subsequently cleared both DNB and FICO examinations with Merit.

His clinical training at GNEC included extensive exposure to cataract surgery, corneal transplantation and medical retina. During senior residency, he performed thousands of cataract surgeries, approximately 150 corneal transplant procedures and underwent dedicated medical-retina training involving retinal laser, fluorescein angiography and intravitreal injections.

Today, his clinical practice focuses particularly on cataract surgery, cornea and medical retina.

His current profile lists more than 10,000 cataract surgeries and 150+ corneal transplants, alongside expertise in micro-incision cataract surgery, premium IOLs, OCT and OCT-A based retinal evaluation.
